Worth over 2000$. Spam emails seem harmless, until you respond, click on, or open one. Our service is very simple: if you have the email address of someone you hate, don't email bomb them - let all the sleazy spammers on the net do it for you. Junk mail is up to 15000+ since yesterday afternoon.

I know that this is a method used to cover up for a purchase confirmation email so I went through them and luckily I found the culprit. Apparently, hackers entered my eDreams account that I hadn't used in years (The password I was using had been in a data breach) and they booked that flight under the name: "Boryssova Kateruna".The flight is totally legit and I was even able to check the booking info in the Air France's airline website.I quickly went through my credit cards, paypal, etc but there was nothing.I contacted eDreams customer support and apparently they booked the flight with a card with that same russian name.This makes no sense to me. A confirmation email for a flight from Paris to Beijing in two days from now. Used it for 5 hours 2 years ago, and I still get 100 email a day past my spam filter. As long as you don't click on anything or respond, your email may eventually be seen as not working, and scammers will target it less.Yeah, I'll try to set some keyword filters, but majority is just random subjects. The spam made it through our spam filter because the way this spam bomb was conducted, they use bots to go out to "legitimate" websites and sign your email up for subscription etc. I'm guessing no and that email account is permanently lost.I have plenty of triggers set up on camelcamelcamel, absolutely no spam.If you can set up rules in your inbox, see if you notice a trend with certain emails (like if you're getting a lot for Canadian online pharmacies, inheritances, etc), you can set up inbox rules that filter certain keywords to certain folders.It'll eventually die down; might just take a while.
