The several AP and Honors classes available to our disposal are both interesting and engaging. It is a very good academic school, and it is great for those looking for a tighter-knit community. Students that fall on either side of that divide can clearly feel the separation. I would like to see the school become more diverse and embrace the culture that walks its halls. At this school every student is given the resources and tools they need not only to thrive in high school but also to prepare them for college and their future beyond. Athletics play a huge role in the culture at Issaquah, sporting events provide students with an outlet to have fun and meet new people, as well as boost school spirit.
