The graphics were really good, however Coraline didn't look as I picture her, probably because I saw the movie is first. The result is a graphic novel that incorporates the bulk of Gaiman's original text and combines visuals that truly complement the trajectory and tones of the overall story. this will be my preparation for halloween mental gathering.SO glad I got the chance to read this, even if it was for a lame school assignment. I am a writer, after all. there are definitely things i would have loved to have seen all up in my face. However, I can say that seeing the film first didn't really spoil the book for me.

The most horrific symbol of which is the button eyes the witch wants to sew over Coraline's real ones. i think if i had read this as a young girl, it would be one of my favorite books ever.
