From Roma (Carnorvan Highway) or Toowoomba (Moonie Highway) – drive through town and turn left at Carnorvan Highway (sign 55) on the corner of Grey and Victoria Streets. The restaurant staff were attentive, the service excellent and our meals first class (top marks to the Chef). This great value motel is spotless, offers plenty of amenities including a fantastic swimming pool (which was greatly needed after a long day of driving with 2 kids) and is within walking distance to shops, parks and pubs. Thank you.Living in Melbourne we get to sample some great cuisine -- But when I was in St George 2 yrs ago the food was way better than any that I've had in Melbourne Keep it up Dr.Rivers Restaurant will re-open on Thursday 23rd July 2020. Would recommend you try the entree of crumbed lamb brains -- yummy, the best I have ever had. A golden stay !! Finding an ideal family-friendly small hotel in St George does not have to be difficult. Top quality menu and the food was delicious.

This restaurant gives some of the big city restaurants a run for their money.Large spacious,clean,comfortable rooms and the swimming pool was refreshing after a long drive.
