Methinks the OP has tried to fill in those fieldsI've been trying to set up a 4315 remotely with a friend on site and was going round in circles until I saw this post. That's how it is on mine. When I called they were adamant it was unlocked but wouldn't give me any help...

Thanks. DSL line through splitter to DSL port of 4315. If you were to look towards an outside source for the modem firmware upgrade, it'd be likened to "rooting", aka jailbreaking, your mobile phone, rendering your warranty void. Using DMZ is a way around these kinds of problems.In order to unlock the device with that config file, you need UART access, which involves taking the modem apart and connecting it to a UART adapter. posted 2016-Jun-12, 5:10 pm AEST

Maybe try factory reset it, then put it in bridge mode again.
The Belong 4315 is locked to IPoE when connected to VDSL.If I were you, I'd put the 4315 in bridge mode, and get a nice router like the Asus RT-AC68U or Netgear R7000.But do the actual sync speeds look right and do they change?? Setting up ADSL2+ and modem configuration.Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type. As a backstop am keeping the R7000 unplugged and running the Sagemcom 4315 as the modem / router :(I'm not sure how this works as I thought the modem needs the login details. posted 2016-Jun-10, 7:51 pm AEST

posted 2016-Jun … The Aussie Broadband tech support noted that I don't need to put any login credentials but keep "does the internet connection require a login" as "no". WI-FI MODEM. only if it's doing the routing, as it's bridged, it's not needed/relevant, the router behind is doing all the work.

You shouldn't need one on FTTN.Anyone had success with being able to change the VDSL config from IPOE to PPPoE? IP and DNS set to take up automatically from ISP.Many people find issues .. one is the Belong will be setup for Telstra type connection which might not work as well with other ISP.. also in bridge you do need vlan set.. (is this possible on the WAN of the R7000?? And the router itself is a model by Sagemcom F@ST 4353-U router. posted 2016-Jun-10, 11:53 pm AEST

I don't think you are going to do any better with the 4315 bridged.Ok.. that is quite an early one and you should be able to get advanced access into the GUI.I am currently using the 4315 as a normal modem / router and accessing the internet through Netgear's wifi.I have tried to bridge the 4315 to the R7000 for the last week per below.
Is it possible for me to update/change the firmware on the modem without screwing up all of the ISP set settings. 4 LAN ports , 1 DSL port, 1 Wan Port and a USB port Almost new, still got protective film on it.
